In Pink Journey series, Furkan Öztekin focuses on events that are important in LGBTI+ resistance history, such as Ülker Street, Eryaman and Meis Site. The artist, whose aim is to provide a new perspective through social excavation with his explorer spirit, is conducting new stories from real estate photos of rental houses. Öztekin’s personal experience and sections that he got from marginalized and criminalized places are combining and evolving to a queer subjectivity.
