Some movies have a big meaning in our lives. It reminds us of unforgettable characters and unforgettable scenes throughout our lives. We compare ourselves to some of the characters of the film, we go after some lives like a dream. One script, twelve artists, one director; With “Us Actually”, Mixer puts a director in the curator seat this time and brings the audience to an unforgettable exhibition / film experience. Written and directed by director Can Kılcıoğlu, the exhibition Us Actually presents the viewer with a cinematographic view of a story cycle produced by twelve artists based on the flow of scenes in the script.
Based on the close relationship between cinema and art, “Us Actually” is inspired by realistic emotions and feelings. It tells the first step of love and relationships from the first moment a couple meets, until the first time they encounter after separation. In the fictional space created, this story becomes a film exhibition with twelve artists using different mediums and the exhibition becomes a cinematic experience for the audience.
The exhibition “Us Actually”, shares sincerely the love, the state of being a partner, the ability to stay together or leave when necessary. With reference to unforgettable films, loves and times, it becomes a sincere, volatile and romantic exhibition that will remain in memory for a long time.
